We're the faces behind this small business!

Hi! I'm Heather, and this is my husband Jon. We started Gilded Finch back in 2019 just as a small hobby to create beautiful things. Jon grew up with a strong carpentry background and as soon as we had a home to call our own he was showing me the ropes too. It started out as custom furniture pieces for our first house and then evolved to become signs. There is something so special about having pieces of art in your home that truly represent your family and lifestyle. 

We are a military family who were on the move almost from the moment we met it seemed. The first five years of our relationship were spent based in the Edmonton area. Alberta will always hold a special place in our hearts. We were engaged in the rockies, purchased our first home, married and brought home our first baby all in this time. As do all good things this chapter closed and we moved back to our home province of Ontario in the fall of 2021. We are now based out of Chalk River, ON and are so thrilled to continue this venture and see what this next stage has in store for us. Can't wait to share it with you!
